Conditional Formating when result is text
How do you set conditional formating to change the text color when the
formula results in a text value? ie. the cell results in a vlookup formula that finds the text in the column of "order". I would like this to be viewed as red. |

Have you tried with text? Works for me........ Select the cell(s) to be formatted red if text is the word "order". FormatCFCel Value "equal to" "order"(no quotes). Excel will amend this to ="order". Pick a red from FormatPatterns.
