Default Last saved date into an excel cell

I would like to have the date that the spreadsheet was edited (last saved) in
an Excel cell.
If I use the =now() this will get updated when the spreasheet is viewed.
There is a variable as the date that the spreadsheet is saved can be view in
an explorer window.
