![]() Excel is ancillary to what I do, so I know only enough to be dangerous. I have a column of first names imported from someone else's text file. There is an extra space in front of every first name (col. a). There are two columns on the sheet only col a has the problem. I went to the TRIM function in the help files and of course that only exacerbates confusion among non-excel wonks. Any and all help is appreciated.
