Default How do I calculate Costs from a Time. ie 16:00 - 12:00 = 4:00hrs x £5.50rate per hour = £22.00

=(end time - start time) * rate per hour * 24

Time dates are represented at the "rate" of 1 = 1 day. So
1/24 id the equivalent of 1 hour, so time2-time1 /(1/24)
gives you the number of hours (and pro-rata for any
minutes/seconds. You may want to use the round function
to modify this.
