Hi,
In Excel 2000, I am trying to enter a series of dates, say from july 1st 2005 to february 28, 2006. Excel does not recognize this as a date, in however form I enter it, even if I format the cell to force it to recognize a date. I have checked my regional settings, and updated them to use four-digit years as a default, but this does not help. Can anyone help? I need the worksheet to recognize a date and to be able to do calculations with it. Now, when I enter the date in a cell and do DAY(cell), I get a VALUE error. I suppose that means excel does not recognize the value in the cell as a date. Thanks for any help. Margo Guda. |
