Hi
Does anyone know how to perform the cube root function in excel? On a
calculator, it is the button with a no 3 infront of a square root symbol.
Many thanks

=H8^(1/3)
this gets the cube root of H8

Try doing a quick search before you post a question....

Alison -

Browse to Google Groups, and search for "excel cube root" (without the
quotes).

The best way to search for Excel issues is to download Ron de Bruin's add-in for searching newsgroup archives and accessing Excel
sites from Excel (or Word or PowerPoint)
