Hi
you may use VLOOKUP in an adjacent cell if you don't want to use an
event procedure. See:

I want to enter a number into a cell and have it replaced with a

description.
i.e. If I enter "1" in a cell it will replace it with "frame." If I

enter
"2" it will replace it with "carpet." I need an excel fromula to

tell the
program to do this.
