Default Entire contents of cell not showing

I have created a worksheet with two columns for tracking some land
information. The first column contains a series of labels in various rows.
The second column contains information which is typed next to the various
labels in the first column. I made the height of the various rows in the
columns various sizes in relation to the text being input. The cell I am
having problems with has a height of 300. When I finish typing, all of the
information does not show even though I can see that there is a lot of white
space still in the cell.

What am I doing wrong?

I have read this solution posted (haven't tried it myself, but the people
with the problems seem satisfied with the solution.) Every 80 to 120
characters (I believe) try adding an Alt-Enter.

Kevin: Thanks for trying, but it didn't work for me. At first I thought it
was going to work because everything was showing in the cell. However, as
soon as I moved out of the cell, some of the text disappeared.

Very frustrating.

Hmmm, I guess you have wrap text checked (in format/cells/alignment) Not
sure that makes a difference.

Yes, that's correct. I do have Wrap Text checked. It's a long document
(about a half page).

Marilyn,
Sometimes if you have something in the cell(s) to the right, Excel will
choose to show that over what you have in the cell you're talking about. Try
doubleclicking the cell separator (the rght vertical line in the column at
the top of the sheet) to see how wide the cell goes, and CTRL Z (undo)if you
don't like it.
