Default comment indicators should feature lock or pw protect limiting acc.

Excel 2003 - When comments are inputted in spreadsheets, it would be good to
have a feature to either lock the 'comment' or password protect the 'comment'
whereas, when the spreadsheet is shared not everyone can read your comments.
Even thou you can turn off your 'comment indicator' (not showing there are
comments in a spreadsheet) those knowledgeable in excel can easy turn on the
comment indicator. Therefore, this does limit the user in the types and
extent of a user comments. Protecting the document is not a choice, when
sharing files whereby users require editing. It will be fine to view the
'comment indicator' but when a user clicks, the user cannot access the
contents of the comment.

So why use comments?

Trying to hide comments or anything else in a shared workbook is a losing
proposition. Also, if a cell were unprotected, and user A enters some value
into it and also enters a hidden comment in that cell about the entry, then
user B innocently overwrites that value because they didn't see the comment,
you'd have very subtle data corruption. It's a bad idea.
