Default Mailed document does not look the same

I am trying to send a newsletter done in Word 2002. If I copy and paste the
document into Outlook and sent it, when I opened it it looks all funny. I
have tried with Power Point and saved it as jpeg or gif but it does not look
right. When I paste the document into Outlook I recieved a message saying
"Your current security settings prohibit running Activex controls on this
page. As a result, the page may not display correctly" What can I do??
