April,
Select all the cells of mixed formulas/ vlues, then use Edit / Go To... Special Constants (and then select numbers, or strings as appropriate) then press 0 and Ctrl-Enter or just press Delete. Make sure that you don't select cells with headings, labels, etc.... HTH, Bernie MS Excel MVP "DestinySky" wrote in message ... I need to change the values to zero but leave the formulas with out going through 400 spreadsheets and manually putting in a zero into each cell.... can this be done? If this does not make sense please let me know and I can try to explain it! Thanks again all!!! Example: I have a spreadsheet that I enter the sales data on a monthly basis. Now for 2006 I wanted to just copy each customer file and change the sales info to zero to start the new year... Hope this makes sense!! :o) April |
