Default Help with vehicle sales forecasting with Excel

Dear all,

I have been assigned a new responsibility of Forecasting The National
Automotive Vehicle sales at a major car maker in Malaysia. As the
country experiences tremendous sales growth for the past three years,
the previous sales forecasting method based on pure judgment and rule
of thumb are no longer adequate.

Therefore, I would like to identify the appropriate Excel modelling
that can be applied to the data that we have. The forecast will be on
the total Industry vehicle sales as well as the segment breakdown on a
monthly and yearly basis.
Monthly
and Yearly from 2006 to 2008
1. Total Vehicle sales
Passenger Cars
MPV
4X4
Commercial vehicles

If any of you guys would let me know where to begin with, it would make
a world of difference.

Thanks and best regards,

Annuar Jalaluddin
