I haveMicrosoft excel. As I try and open my 3 1/2 floppy disk I get the
following error message and I can not access the information on the diskette: Excel does not have access to the information. The message was in french I translated as best as I could: For french speaking users the message was: Vous essayer peut t'etre d'ouvrir en lecture seul. Thank you kindly. Taz. |

I don't know exactly what you are doing but it sounds like you are trying to open an Excel file directly from a 3.5 diskette. Don't ever save to or open from a removable diskette. Always save a file to your hardrive and then copy it to the diskette, and, in your case, always copy the file from the diskette to your hardrive and open the file from your hardrive.
