I know nothing about using formulas in excel. I'm using "find replace" from
the edit menu to clean up some data. How do I enter multiple item in the find field? What's the syntax? More info: I have a data field where there are five digits prefixed by four digits and suffixed by a name i.e. 01 02 09876 Hammock. I need to isolate the 5 middle digits in one column, the prefix in a second column and the suffix in a third column. So far I have copied the data to three seperate columns and I'm using find replace to isolate the data in each column but it is tedious. Please help!! Thanks. |
