Hi
This may be simple to most, so could you please help :

I want to work out V.A.T. each month in exel instead of a calculator
then inputting it.

I have aabout 20 customers that i bill each month and i need to charge
VAT @17.5%.

Their monthly VAT to be charged is in 1 column so i want to get the VAT
amount in the next column, then the total in the next.

Could someone please tell me how?

Thanks

all you need to do is what you have described. So if the monthly bill
is in cell A10, in cell B10 put =A10*.175 and in C10 =A10+B10
