Default Generating numbers & submitting details from one sheet to another

Hi there,

I have two sheets, New Customer and Customer Contacts.

In the New Customer sheet, customer details are entered using a
form-like interface, but i want Excel to automatically generate the ID
number.

When the data is entered, I would like to create a macro button to
submit these details to Customer Contacts and then cleared from New
Customer. Customer contacts is simply a table with headings.

My problems a

1) I do not know how to generate the ID numbers on the New Customer
sheet.

2) I do not know how to submit the details to the Customer Contacts
sheet.

3) I do not know how to ensure that the next ID number generated in
Customer Contacts is incremented from the last record in the Customer
Contacts table.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks,

Meenakshi
