Default list box length

Is there a maximum length that a list box can hold? I can only see about 40
items on the list box when it opens. I'm trying to make a mateiral list with
prices so that I can select the material then fill in the price
automatically. Created the box by selecting a cell then data - validate -
from list...........
Thanks,
Larry

When you click on the arrow you will see 8 items only. That is fixed.

The number of items in the DV box can be much more than 40. I just tested
with 3375 and had no problem seeing all.

Where do you get the list of items from?

A list of data on the worksheet? Typed into the DV dialog box?

Check your list source to make sure you have included all items.

For more on DV lists see Debra Dalgleish's site.
