![]() Hi, i'm having a little trouble trying to generate unique consecutive numbers in Excel XP. This is what i have to do, say i've entered all these details as a job, calling it job 1, then when i enter some more jobs i want it to automatically put 2 when i enter the data in a Form. is this possible or am i asking the spreadsheet to do more than its capable of. I want it similar to in access when it automatically puts the next consecutive number after you have entered data. i no it sounds conufuzing, but thats the best way i could put it! any help much apriciated! thanks ![]() -- alexcooper2003 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ alexcooper2003's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=16726 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=319327 |
