Hi
use conditional formatting, click on the cell in question, choose format / conditional formatting choose cell value is choose equal to type yes click on the FORMAT button - in the middle of the font tab you can set text colour, use patterns to set background colour. click OK then click ADD choose cell value is choose equal to type no click on FORMAT button, set the formatting, click OK twice. hope this helps Cheers JulieD "mesh" wrote in message ...
