i want to match records of my client with my own and to find difference if any
any help on subject heartly appreciated.

Default how to match data of one column with other

With your client's list in column A of Sheet1, and your list in column A of
Sheet2, put this formula in B1 of Sheet1 and copy down........

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A1,Sheet2!A:A,1,FALSE)),"Not on my list","match")
