Color rows if
Hi,
I am new to Excel and wish to know how. I would like a row in a spreadsheet to become red if the letter "y" is entered in a cell on that row. Could someone pls tell me the formula, many thanks. Bob |

Color rows if
highlite the area you want the conditional format
at the menus select format, and then conditional formatting select, cell value is go to the next drop down box and select equal to go to the next box and type in Y , press the format button select patterns select the color you want press ok a couple of times test it out Dave |
