Default Someone moved my linked file

I have a spreadsheet that links into several other sheets spread all
over my network.

Yesterday someone decided to move a directory that contained several of
the spreadsheets I was linking into.

Now I have two questions.

1. Is there a simple way to update my spreadsheet to refer to the new
location?

2. If I look at a cell referring to one of these sheets it still has the
old path etc... but when I update the links it doesn't produce an error
in the cell. Why is this? Surely it should report a problem. Instead is
continues to show it's previous value.

I am running Excel XP

Thanks for any help

Keith:

From the menu select EDIT | LINKS

Then select each of the offending links and use the CHANGE SOURCE button to
change the link.
