Default Formula not working

I am using the following formula in an excel spreadsheet:-

=SUMIF(B3:B158,"east midlands",$C3:$J158)

However it only gives me a total for column C and not for the entire range
C3:J158

Can you help

Thanks

Nick

Default Formula not working

SUMIF only handles a single column. Try

=SUMPRODUCT(--(B3:B158="east midlands")*($C3:$J158))
