Can't open a png file when hyperlinking through Excel. How to do?
I used Excel for an Actions Tracker at work and was hyperlinking Actions to
specific documents. These documents were e-mails which I had saved as png files using a screen-capture program called SnagIt. The purpose being that SnagIt would allow me to save an entire e-mail as a single document without having to cut and paste them into a Word doc. If I open the png files directly, they will open with Windows Picture & Fax viewer. However, when hyperlinking through Excel, an error message appears stating "Cannot open the specified file". Is there anyway to resolve this? |
