excel not copying formulas/formatting to next row?
i have a large table, column A has data validation, M has a formula for calculating based on columns K and L, and O has condifional formatting. basically excel does not automatically copy the formulas down if I start typing on the next blank line on the sheet, despite every single one fo the 1500 rows before it all containing exactly the same formatting and formulas. I thought excel should automatically copy these things down if you start entering on an empty row but it does not. We are using excel 2002 SP2 here. any ideas? -- neowok ------------------------------------------------------------------------ neowok's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...fo&userid=5940 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=313818 |

Go to Tools/Options/Edit, and check the Extend list formats and formulas.
