Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone knows the solutions for this problem. I use
worksheet functions to get the certain values, say mean of the column.
Then the cell showing the mean value has the linked function in it.
But I want just the number (mean) instead of the links. in other
words, i want to copy the mean and paste in other workbooks without
links. Is there any way to to that?

First Edit Copy the cells with the formulas but instead of Edit
Paste try Edit Paste Special and select Values.
