![]() Hi I’m making a spreadsheet that is conditionally formatted to highlight any companies names in a database that my company is due to contact, based on a formula working out the gap between today’s date and the date when we said we thought we should next contact them, and if that date is less than one then the company gets highlighted in red. I also want a box to come up when the spreadsheet is started stating which companies should be contact, saving the user from scrolling down the screen unless they want to. Any ideas how I’d go about doing this? I assume I need to link a caption box (as I need it to be closeable) through to a similar formula as with the highlighting, but I have no idea how to get text to display in one? Thanks for your help guys and girls. -- mr_chrisevans ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mr_chrisevans's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=30310 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=500088 |
