Default Change Text Colot to RED *IF cell value is positve?

I'm creating a performance monitoring excel sheet for my stock
positions.

I want the color of my PERCENT RETURN value column to be green if the
value is positive and red if it is a negative value. Can I do this in
excel? or do I have to create a vba macro?

Hi,

There is another way of solving this problem - you can tweak the number format

Go To FormatCellsCategoryCustom
In the Type field, type the following

[0][Green];[<0][Red]
