I want to prevent input into a cell unless another cell has a value in it.

Assuming the cell that you want to ensure has something in it before allowing entry in the other cell is D8, then in the other cell - choose data / validation - choose custom - in the formula line type =D8<"" - uncheck the "IGNORE BLANK" box - click on the OK button -- Cheers JulieD julied_ng at hctsReMoVeThIs dot net dot au "SMusial" wrote: I want to prevent input into a cell unless another cell has a value in it. |
