Default Automatic Calculate Worksheets

Hi,

I'm trying to create a workbook for use by novice excel
users. I'm trying to automate it as much as possible, by
inputing formulas and then protecting the cells. What I
want is for them to be able to cut and paste data in
certain cells and then have the formulas use that data to
make calcuations. The problem is that when the data is
copied into the worksheet, the formulas don't calculate
unless I go to the cell containing the formula and double
click and hit enter. There is about 1000 lines of data
and I don't want to have to do that on every line in the
worksheet. I've try hitting F9 to calculate with no
results. Is there an easy way to calulate the worksheet,
or is there a better way to get the data into the sheet so
that the formulas update?

thanks
