Default how do i recover a consolidated worksheet that i sorted/subtotale

I had a consolidated worksheet from 01/01/05 to current, and was requested to
sort by name/date and then subtotal all entries w/o saving the consolidated
one. Is there a way to recover the original one?

Hi

create duplicate copy of the sheet you are working by right clicking
that sheet tab then select/click 'move or copy' and check the small box
below asking to create copy .
use sort from Data menu and complete the steps in the created new
worksheet
then use Data Subtotals
u will get the required information in the copied (duplicate) sheet
change the name of duplicate sheet which looked like Sheet1(2)

with regards

Gandhi
