Default Increasing numbers in a column by percentage

Excel 2003. I would like to increase a lengthy list of numerical pricing in a
column by a percentage or in this case by 8 1/2%. I can't seem to find any
information that supports a quick way to do this.

In an empty cell, enter 1.085. Copy that cell (ctrl + c). Select the range
you want adjusted and Edit Paste Special, select Multiply and click OK.
