I'm wanting to count the number of cells that have a value between 10 and
12.1. The current range (before I add any more is F2:F19. Can anyone see what's wrong with this formula. I'm stumped and it's probably sooooo simple. Fortunately, the sample is small enough to see that the results are wrong. Correct result is 3, however, it generates a result of 11. Can someone help. Please and thanks. =COUNTIF(F2:F19,"<12.1")-COUNTIF(F2:F19,"10") The data in the range is: 9 3 3 5 15 10 1 8 7 8 11 12 10 0 2 12 1 6 |

This works:
=SUMPRODUCT(--(F2:F19<=12),--(F2:F1910)) "Cowtoon" wrote: I'm wanting to count the number of cells that have a value between 10 and 12.1. The current range (before I add any more is F2:F19. This is what I ended up using.
Thank you all for your help. One of you posted this formula. Thanks. Diana =COUNTIF(G2:G16,"<12.1")-COUNTIF(G2:G16,"<=10") "JBoulton" wrote: This works: =SUMPRODUCT(--(F2:F19<=12),--(F2:F1910)) "Cowtoon" wrote: I'm wanting to count the number of cells that have a value between 10 and 12.1.
