Default Can you use the validate function in a data form in Excel?

I am trying to simplify the data entry by using the "Form" function from the
"Data" menu. In the data entry fields in the spreadsheet I am using data
validation to standardise the responses, and I was interested in finding out
how / if Excel was able to utilise the same data validation in the "Form"
view as it uses in the spreadsheet?
