Default on a calander how do i enter more than one event in one square

i am trying to enter my work hours an payday on a calander i downloaded from
excel but i can only enter one or the other not both please help i am just
learning about excel

To enter more than 1 line of info into an Excel cell, you hold down the
Alt key, after you typed in your first line, and hit enter. The cursor
will go to the next line in the same cell.

Is that what you meant?
