Default Problem with lists

My problem is probably very simple. When I create a list, it puts a border
around the range but the drop down arrow is only visible when the box is
selected. I have seen worksheet where there is no border and the drop down
arrow, that indicates there is a list, is visible all the time. How is this
accomplished.

Default Problem with lists

Try a ComboBox from the Control Toolbox.

ViewToolbarsControl Toolbox.
