Default excel formulas not copying

i am copying a relative formula from one cell to another. when i paste the
copy i get the same answer as the original cell. this happens with a new
file and different computer/program. when i hilite the clone cell and hit
return, the correct answer shows. the formula is simple and is generated
from the formula wizard (i.e.: ln(A5)). the answer for the A5 reference
shows up in all clones cells.

You probably have Calculation set to manual. You can hit F9 to recalculate
at any time. Or, you can set Calculation to automatic.

Tools-Options-Calculation (tab)...select Automatic.
