Default WHEN DOWNLOADING A TEXTFILE EXCEL DELETES BLANK ROWS - STOP THIS?

When I download a text file to excel it now deletes blank rows so my macros
for formatting are 'thrown out' of sync. I have recently had excel 2003
installed and this didn't happen before. Is there something e.g in 'tools'
which I can 'untick' to stop this.
