I have a couple of spreadsheets where attempting to copy using the menu
"copy" or the shortcut Control-V results in the general error message ("Windows Excel has encountered a problem and needs to close"). There is no VB code behind the spreadsheet, and this happens consistently in every cell that I've tried so far, there appears to be no correlation between any particular cell or format or word and getting the error. I tried using "Detect and Repair" from the Help menu, and it says it repaired the worksheet -- but the same thing happens. Any ideas? It doesn't happen on all spreadsheets, just some of them, and I can't determine anything about the spreadsheets that it does happen on that would differentiate it from the others. |
