Hi MAROSE62,
I'm just learning Excel and I did not find a tool bar that my friend showed me on her computer that will allow me to tell the columns what function I want them to display - ie: for setting up a budget. On the menu bar, try: Insert | Function Alternatvely, use the equivalent toolbar button with the 'fx' icon. Also, is there a good website to use as a tutorial for Excel? I'm using Windows XP See DDavid MacRitchie's tutorial links page at: http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel....htm#tutorials And, for a wealth of tutorials and information, see Debra Dalgleish at: http://www.contextures.com/tiptech.html --- Regards, Norman "GMAROSE62" wrote in message ...
