Default how do i unstring text in an excel cell?

a cell contains "123 a b". i want to unstring it into three cells in the
same row.

There is an Excel feature called Text to columns that does exactly what you
want.

1. select the data
2. pull-down Data Text to Columns... and let the wizard guide you.
