![]() I am trying to work out a leave request/conflicting sheet. I'm not sure whether this is possible or not, but the idea is to have a formula that will come back with the result telling me whether people have leave which conflicts with others on the list. *Column A Name of employee *Column B Work Area *Column C Start date for leave *Column D Last date of leave *Column E (Formula goes here) Indicates whether someone else on the list has leave at the same time (either identical to, or within the range of dates between the start and end dates). I would like it to be able to list ALL the names of people that do conflict. Additionally, I would also like it to be able to distinguish between work areas, so it will only give a result if the confliction is from someone in the same work areas. Can anyone help me? -- Darknexxus ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Darknexxus's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=27775 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=472860 |
