Default Security Certificate

I wished to post a question to the community. My browser put up a window
saying "Website certified by an unknown authority" - please notify the site's
webmaster about this problem. Of the possible reasons given, the following
seemed to be the most likely: "Your browser does not recognise the
Certificate Authority that issued the site's certificate". I checked the
dates and they were 06/09/2005 to 06/09/2006. I am using Mozilla Firefox
1.0.4.
