Use Format Cells (number tab) and choose General. Then Edit and Enter, and you should see the number. HTH __ Richard Buttrey Grappenhall, Cheshire, UK __________________________ |

1. Uncheck the Formulas option on the View tab under Tools|Options if
it's checked. 2. Format the cell as General, go the Formula Bar, and hit F2. lady one wrote: when I put a numbers in the cell and click inter..I see the formula in the appointed cell but not the number it self ..please help |

Do you mean you see a formula, like =SUM(A1:A10)?
If so, go to ToolsOptionsView and uncheck the Formulas check box. -- HTH Bob Phillips "lady one" wrote in message ... when I put a numbers in the cell and click inter..I see the formula in the appointed cell but not the number it self ..please help |
