I seem to recall that in 1-2-3 by Lotus there was a character which you could
start a cell with and the contents of the cell would not print, which I think it what you are looking for. I seem to think the character was | or ¦. However, neither character seems to work in Excel 2003 to keep the contents of the cell from printing. If there is a comparable character (or function) in Excel, I haven't yet found it. Is it possible to set the worksheet up so that the cells are always visible to the user but when they print the sheet, these cells do not print? The cells in question will contain instructions for the user that they will not wish to print. |
