Collapsable Rows?
Ok, I have a spreadsheet here at work that someone long gone created...
On the left hand side there are + and - signs that allow you to collapse sections of the spreadsheet. This is the first time I've run into this and I'm dying to know how they did it, but I can't seem to find any settins for it or anything. Can anyone give me a hand here? Thanks. J. |

This is one of the cool things about Excel. When you make a table of data be
sure it has heading. Than go to Data/Subtotals and follow the prompts. It automatically subtotals and gives you the collapsible buttons. If you want to remove them go to the same place and select the REMOVE ALL button on the bottom. JICDB "Egon" wrote: Ok, I have a spreadsheet here at work that someone long gone created... It is in menu
DataGroup and Outline. Select the rows to group, then invoke this menu option. -- HTH Bob Phillips "Egon" wrote in message ups.com...
