Default how do i get this

I have dates and times i have to add and substract from each other most are
start and finish time except for 1 of them and i'm having trouble with it.
after i add them together which gives me the amount of hours and minutes the
process took but i have to subtract the delay time which is figured in hours
and minutes on a seperate sheet that i just incert into a cell in the
spreadsheet. my trouble is getting the process hr and min. time to subtract
from the delay cell, the delay in a time format gives me AM & PM time frames
in stead of an hr time frame. i cann't seem to figure out how to get this
done.

It sounds like you only problem is with the appearance of the cell. Change
the format to hh:mm (or [h]:mm to show more than 24 hours. It should just be
a case of subtracting the delay from the process time. eg finish time
cell-start time cell-delay cell = total process time (formatted as [h]:mm).
