Default Copy & Paste problem when filter is on

I have two excel files. In one file I have 1767 entries. When I apply filter I get 243 entries. Now In the other excel file I have some data for those exact 243 entires . I wanted to copy those data for each column from excel file 2 and wanted to paste in file one. If I paste directly, it will never matches the corresponding cells. I tried to select the visible cells only option in the file one and then tried to paste the column data, but it didn't work. It says "the information cannot be pasted because the copy area and the paste area are not in the same size and shape"

Is there any way I can copy data from file 2 i.e .(without filters) and paste in file 1 (with filters).
