Dragging a formula in a column
I have a formula in a cell that I need to drag down, the spreadsheet itself is very big and dragging it is a pain. Tried double clicking the lower right corner but it wont work because the column to the right of it also has blanks in it. Any suggestions?

Dragging a formula in a column

I have a formula in a cell that I need to drag down, the spreadsheet itself is very big and dragging it is a pain. Tried double clicking the lower right corner but it wont work because the column to the right of it also has blanks in it. Any suggestions? You could select the first cell containing the formula along with all the other cells you want to copy the formula to, then press 'F2' to enter EditMode in the cell containing the formula, then press 'Ctrl+Enter' to put the formula into all the other cells simultaneously. -- Garry Free usenet access at http://www.eternal-september.org Classic VB Users Regroup! comp.lang.basic.visual.misc microsoft.public.vb.general.discussion |
