I have large list of name in excel as below..............
Frank O. Martin
G. E. Smith
Susan Smith-Klein
Jeffrey Chang
Dr. Jack Johnson Smith, PhD
Mr. Jim S. Van De Berg, Jr.

How can separate them in different columns for Salutation, First Name, middle name, last name and suffix??

Thanks

Without an extensive lookup table, you won't be able to do them all.
It's not too difficult to develop a list of acceptable honorifics / salutations and so forth.

The problem comes in trying to figure what constitutes a middle name.

You and I "know" that in your last entry, the "S." is the middle name, and the last name is Van De Berg. But without a discreet rule that will tell the computer that Van De Berg is a last name, processing would have to rely on an extensive lookup table.
